Building Our Future
I am from Huntington, Long Island, New York. My professional background is in home building and general contracting.
I was a licensed contractor for over 30 years on Long Island and ran a successful small business. I attended Long Island University in Southampton, NY and studied geology. I did not pursue that career path as life got in the way. With the change, of course, I went back to what I knew, construction work. My dad and grandfather were carpenters. It was only natural that I could follow that path.
I have through the years worked with state, county and town officials, building department and building code officials, zoning administrators and planners, architects and engineers.
I have a good understanding of zoning regulations, building codes and best practices. I use this experience for my involvement with organizations in Cape Charles.
